Big, bigger, biggest.

That is the image that has emerged in the media of wedding planners and the weddings they organize. Exclusive venues, over-the-top styling, and budgets that effortlessly approach €100,000 (or more). As if a wedding planner can only be hired when going all out. Anyone who recently tuned in to the program about wedding planners on Net5 will see that this image is still being well maintained.

But that image is not only one-sided, it is also misleading. Because honestly: not every couple can (or wants to) go all out. And they don't have to. A beautiful, personal wedding day isn't about the budget or the scale, but about the quality and the experience. It's about the atmosphere, the attention paid to each other, and how well everything suits the couple.

No fuss. The couples we guide often value different things. Of course, they also want a beautiful day, but with a different approach and less fuss. Questions that come up are more likely to be about a beautiful location in nature or fun activities in the area for their guests, rather than where they can find the most spectacular dress or cake.

And perhaps most importantly: how to use your budget wisely. Because a larger budget doesn't automatically mean a better wedding. The difference almost always lies in the choices you make. Do you opt for a well-known band costing thousands of euros, or for a local band that might be less famous but sets exactly the right atmosphere? Do you go for a massive floral installation or subtle, stylish table decorations? And that 'ordinary' bitterball tastes at least as good as the caramelized duck on little gem lettuce. Quality over quantity and knowing what you are investing in. In our experience, that makes the day.

Why, then, do we primarily see luxury weddings? Media and platforms choose what stands out and gets shared. Large budgets simply translate into images that do well on Instagram and Pinterest: long tables under perfect lighting, impressive floral arrangements, and dream locations.

Additionally, celebrity weddings and those of famous influencers set a certain standard. Platforms like Vogue Weddings, Brides, and social media also primarily showcase the most spectacular examples, simply because they attract the most attention. But that is not the reality for most couples. The largest group actually opts for something smaller, more personal, and less extravagant. And that is precisely where the strength lies: it is not about how much you spend, but about how it feels for you and your guests. In the atmosphere, the genuine moments, and the ease with which the day unfolds.

A wedding planner is there for everyone.

A wedding planner isn't just for over-the-top, Instagram-worthy weddings with large budgets. In fact, especially with a clearly defined budget, it can be incredibly helpful to have someone by your side who thinks along with you, sets priorities, and prevents you from spending money on things that ultimately add little value. Through experience, we know the best places to invest and where to save without compromising on atmosphere. A wedding planner doesn't have to be a luxury product; above all, it is an investment in less stress, better organization, and a day that you can enjoy to the fullest. Regardless of budget or size.
